SHV CONNECTOR – cable assembly
SHV-Conenctors are coaxial high voltage connectors with high safety (SHV = Safe High Voltage). The inner conductor contacts are backspaced in order to exclude the contact of conductors under voltage when unconnected. All inner conductors are detained against axial forces of at least 100N. When connecting, the outer contacts touch each other before the inner contacts. SHV-Connectors are suitable for all applications up to 5 kV DC or 3.5 eff. These connectors are particularly used for nuclear devices as well as for testing and measuring devices. All given values are valid in connected and disconnected condition. (Huber+Suhner)
For the listed plugs fit: RG58, RG59, high voltage cable 0,15mm² / 9KV and others.
