Semi-flexible coaxial cable
A semi-flexible coaxial cable is a corrugated sheath cable with low-loss properties, which is mostly used for the transmission of transmitting power to an antenna. Due to the corrugated copper sheath, the cable is only recommended for fixed installation and not for constant movement.
On the other hand, a semi-flexible coaxial cable surprises with first-class technical values and extremely low losses.
A low-loss corrugated cable like the SCF14-50J has a corrugated shield made of solid copper, a dielectric made of foam PE and an inner conductor made of copper-plated aluminium.
