Cable whip with D-Sub connector
A cable whip is a type of adapter consisting of a multi-pole connector that can distribute a signal to several cables, each with its own connector. Our cable whips with D-Sub connectors function here as suitable supplementary products to our breakout boxes with D-Sub connection.
The possible number of cables is limited by the small space available at the D-Sub connectors. We offer 2-10 connections as standard, but in special cases there may be more. The length and configuration of the individual connectors is entirely according to the wishes of our customers, as they can be manufactured by our experienced team of cable assemblers from as little as one piece.
D-Sub connectors are available as standard in DB9, DB15, DB25 and DB37 versions.

Optimum distribution of your measurement signal with a PCB solution
As a rule, the signal distribution at the D-sub plug or the D-sub socket is realised by means of a suitable printed circuit board. The suitable PCB is equipped with as many connections as possible, so that omitting connections is not a problem. The PCB solution is optimised for maximum distances between the individual contacts and guarantees consistent quality.
Our kit is equipped with high-quality connectors and housings. Always included is a matching heat shrink tubing with inner adhesive for the cable outlet in the housing.
