Coaxial cables come in different forms, the biggest difference being the inner conductor (solid or stranded cable – rope made of several fine conductors) and the shielding (single or multiple). The selection of the right cable always depends on the application and the frequency to be transmitted.
\nExample:<\/strong> When used outdoors<\/a>, care must be taken to use a suitable sheath<\/a>, whereas for use in constant motion, a cable with stranded inner conductors and a braided shield should be selected.
